Gritty Balm?

You may notice that your skin balm has developed a gritty texture or has small, white clumps. Don't worry, it hasn't gone bad! This is a result of the mango butter being warmed up and cooling slowly. When stored in a warm area or in direct sunlight, your skin balm may melt slightly then harden again, leading to the grainy texture. Luckily, there's an easy fix!

Place your balm (with the lid off) in the oven at 200ºF until melted. After it's melted, place the jar directly into the freezer until it's completely solidified. Your balm should be back to the perfect consistency! You can also melt the balm in the microwave, however using an oven is preferred to preserve all of the medicinal properties.
